An accent chair is the easiest way to finish a room, and the easiest to get wrong in scale.
Match the seat height to the sofa (usually 17–19 inches) so a conversation group feels even, and give each chair about 30 inches of clear floor in front. A pair of chairs facing a sofa across a coffee table is the classic staging layout; a single swivel chair works well at a corner of a sectional or by a window.
Bouclé and other textured fabrics add warmth and soften a room of hard surfaces; leather and vegan leather read cleaner and wipe down easily; velvet adds depth but shows pressure marks. Arm style changes the footprint more than people expect — slim or armless chairs suit smaller rooms and tight corners.
Every chair shown as in stock is in our New Jersey supply and arrives in 7–10 business days, or you can collect it free from Midland Park. Under $500, orders are pickup only; add another piece to reach delivery, or free delivery at $1,500.
